Who Is Storied?

Storied is not an ad agency. We’re not buying media. We don’t build websites. We won’t run social media ads. We can help you find the right people to do what a typical agency would do, but those things aren’t who we are.

We’re focused, intentional and unapologetic about one thing; the absolute best brand identities and the highest quality is our goal. Our clients (we call them our friends) expect that and we deliver.

What We Do

We do one thing really, really well—we craft brand identities that tell the stories of the places they represent. If you’re reading this, you already know that a logo is not a brand. A brand is an experience. It’s everything your customers and guests come into contact with.

The best brand identities (which happen to include logos) make people feel drawn to and attached to a brand. Great brand identities are an extension of a person’s own personal identity; a way they show who they are.

How We Work

Just like a great story, your space has all of the key components; characters, setting, plot, conflict and resolution. Our unique process uncovers that story and we translate it into a brand identity that gives life to the entire brand experience.

Our model is different. We don’t have full-time creatives on staff because your project is unique. It’s ineffective to use the same full-time creatives with specific styles on every project. Getting the right talent on your project with the right mix of experience and skills that match your goals is central to our process.

Plus, you don’t pay for the unnecessary frills you’ll get with a full ad agency so we can focus on one thing-a killer brand identity system.

Storied Founder

I’m Brandon Marcum and I bring over 20 years of brand and identity experience from boutique design studios and in-house design and marketing teams, to Creative and Marketing Vice President roles, including roles at the #1 fastest growing company on Forbes 100 list.

After so many years of give and take (mostly give) with clients and colleagues over the proper emphasis on design, specifically brand development, I started The Storied Company.  “Good enough” was no longer good enough for me. I love to team up with luxury real estate owners who understand how important a brand really is and who will have the same extreme attention to detail and expectation of quality that I have.
